A Record of Relationships
in Public Life

Twenty-five years of trusted engagement with elected officials, public agencies, and the civic institutions of Los Angeles and Ventura Counties — documented here through the U.S. Senate campaign fundraiser I hosted for Senator Adam Schiff.

Hosting Adam Schiff for Senate in Westlake Village

I conceived, organized, and executed this campaign fundraiser from start to finish — invitation and host committee development, RSVP and contribution logistics, program coordination, and event-day operations — welcoming then-Congressman Adam Schiff to the Conejo Valley alongside elected officials from across Los Angeles and Ventura Counties.

A Relationship Spanning Two Decades

With Senator Schiff since 2000

On display at the fundraiser: a photograph from 2000 of a young Adam Schiff and me, taken during his first campaign for Congress. Twenty-four years later, we recreated the moment. Relationships in public life are built over decades of showing up — this is what that looks like.

Coalition Building

Bringing elected leaders and community into one room

The measure of a political event is who shows up. This fundraiser brought together members of Congress, state legislators, and a United Farm Workers delegation — a coalition that reflects the breadth of the relationships behind it.

The Broader Record

Government relations across local, state & federal levels

State Capitol Advocacy — Sacramento

Through more than 25 years with H.O.P.E. — Hispanas Organized for Political Equality — I have traveled to the California State Capitol on multiple occasions to advocate directly with legislators and staff for health care access and policy priorities affecting Latino families across California.

Local Government & Public Agencies

As primary community liaison on the Metro East San Fernando Valley Light Rail Transit Project, I managed stakeholder relations across government agencies, elected offices, businesses, and residents. I have attended Metro Board meetings involving Mayor Karen Bass and participated in LA Metro and FIFA World Cup 2026 joint sessions with elected officials and local government partners on public coordination and event readiness.

Election Administration

I served as an Elections Worker with the Ventura County Elections Division during the June 2026 Primary Election — direct, hands-on experience in the democratic infrastructure I have spent my career supporting.

Civic & Political Leadership

Active member of AVANCE, the largest Latino Democratic club in Southern California, and a member of the fundraiser's host committee. Former Vice President of Administration, Ventura County Women's Democratic Club. Member, League of Women Voters. Member, OPUSD Citizens Oversight Committee. Community advocate with Clean Air Moms Action (2015–2020), engaging elected officials and local government on clean air measures.
